I don't know what I am doing but I thought it's been awhile since I was just stupid...well let me amend that. It's been awhile since I "wrote" stupidly, so I have decided to put an entry into vaguely obscure. If you are used to my more devotional writing, I don't think you will offended, but you may not think it has much value. Usually it's my attempt at humor. Have a great day.

 

Sadder than a emo-fest on valentine's day. Yeah I am thinking about trademark that little gem. I have been normally writing under the cup of water stuff but today I am just waxing irrelevant. I was talking with a friend at a football game when that little gem came into mind. So I thought I would just throw it out for my 4 loyal readers. Now what could be sadder than the emo-fest you ask? Well actually nothing but that's not really the point here. I guess a lot of stuff could be....I mean you could be a Stephen F. Austin Football fan. After getting trounced by Sam Houston State, that would be sadder than the aforementioned Festival Con Emo. Whoa...This is awesome, I could start a whole line of products. We have the Emo-fest Valentine's Day gear, the Festival Con Emo, perhaps we could even sell some snacks like black licorice or melted gummy worms (that should be enough material to complete an emo CD or two. We could have Anti-Emo day, although that's pretty much every day you get up and you are glad you that you were able to do so. If you stayed in bed all day and reflected on the esoteric loneliness of a sock that wishes it could find it's place in the world of boxers, well then you were probably dangerously close to an emo moment. Not that I am against emo people, they are ok. I have no problem with them, just the insurmountable grief that they want to embrace until it permeates the air around them creating an emo bubble, if you will. Insects pass into the emo bubble and would probably sting them but figure what's the use and instead decide to hurl themselves into windshields. Apparently there are a lot of emo bubble in south Texas because a lot of bugs keep showing up on the windshield.

 

Yeah I have no reason for adding that image other than to just play around....I" am back!" he said triumphantly for only the 23rd time. I keep saying that I am going to get back to this sight more often and then it's been like 4 months. No excuse really. well ok, one small one. I have written a book. So while I haven't been here, at least I have been writing. Currently the book is 170 pages and will be finished this month. Then I have to shop it around and see if anyone will actually publish it. by the way, the snowman was really that big two years ago when I visited Casper. crazy, huh? well I am going to throw something down at cupofwater later today so check it out.

 
Hmmm here I am and it's only been 1 month since my last post! Hooray. Anyway, the post is short but hopefully something of use to you. It deals with some differences in knowing about Jesus and Knowing Jesus. Check out cupofwater for the latest. I don't know how many people really read this or if they care but I have been very lax with posting for at least one good reason...I am working on a very large project and would appreciate your prayer. I don't want to sound overly important but I am trying to actually write something that I hope will be a blessing so I am attempting a book. Not sure what will happen but it is up to about 100 pages. Well if you are new to this place, you will see that it is pretty dusty because I haven't been around much. I plan on changing that but we will see. You have two routes: cupofwater which is designed to be more of a devotional or thought provoking idea, or you can check out vaguleyobscure which to tell you the truth is more of my dry wit. Yeah ok another change. I get confused by all of this so I will try to be brief. But if you know me that is nearly impossible. Ok so here is how we will work this...I will update this page to say that I have posted on cupofwater. There are two routes from this page..cupofwater which is the Bible study area and vaguely obscure which is where I used to try for humor. I have stayed away from vaguely obscure for no reason other than to try and concentrate on making my writing have little more meaning. but who knows maybe I will try brining it back one day as well. You can read archives from either if you so choose. Thanks and take care.
